Well, I was coming from Atascadero in the south and along the roads I took there weren’t any gas stations nearby; making it to Carmel was questionable, given my mileage and the size of my motorcycle tank. Anyway, just think in much of Europe it’s still about twice as much - we’re weenies, really.
