Cultural divide
Jurgen (on a trip in Europe) produced the following eloquent expression of his views on the cultural divide between here and there:
‘One can walk around with a beer mug in the hand without fat cops putting you in jail and people don’t go to bed at 9pm.’
Though not without some rethorical aplomb, he does have something of a point here.

Kom kom, het nachtleven in Santa Clara is minstens even opwindend als dat van Red Bank.
(serieus, San Jose is eigenlijk niet zo slecht als haar reputatie en er is nog altijd SF)
